עָצֵל atzel means "lazy, idle":
עַצְלָן atzlan can mean the same as עָצֵל atzel, and when used as a noun, it means "lazy person, idle". It is also used as the name for sloth, the animal.

לְהִתְעַצֵּל lehit'atzel means "to slack off, to be lazy". When used with a verb in infinitive, it means "to fail to do something because of laziness":
"Laziness" is עַצְלוּת atzlut or, more commonly, עַצְלָנוּת atzlanut:
Some of you have noticed that we don't publish the Word of the Day every day. No, that's not בִּגְלַל עַצְלָנוּת. We have started adding nouns and other parts of speech – at least those which have non-trivial inflections – and need time to think and figure out how our dictionary should finally look like, so we unfortunately have to take long pauses between the posts. Hopefully, thanks to this work, pealim.com will become more useful for you.
